Freedom Information Systems, Inc. (Freedom) is pleased to announce Colonel Susan Ferrera, USAF, Ret., as its new CEO and Director. Susan comes to the Freedom team with a wealth of military experience spanning her 26 honorable years of service. Throughout her Air Force career, she has held multiple leadership and executive-level roles in strategic management, communications, and personnel. She supported our nation with deployments to Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Qatar, and Afghanistan, with her last post at U.S. Central Command in Tampa, Florida. "I am honored and proud to join Freedom as its new CEO," expressed Ferrera. I'm excited to work with Mark and Andrea to continue the phenomenal efforts and reputation they've established at Freedom. Together, we will leverage Freedom's capabilities and experience to expand our core business while continuing to provide excellent support to our clients." As a result of Susan's new position and as the majority shareholder, Freedom is now classified as a Women-Owned, Veteran-Owned Small Business.
Company co-founders Mark and Andrea Ogles remain shareholders, with Mark continuing to serve as Freedom's President. Mark described the company decision, "We've known Susan for over a decade.
