Andrea Ogles - CEO

CEO, co-founder and majority owner of Freedom, Ms. Ogles manages day-to-day business financial operations and compliance while assisting in overall strategic company direction. She spent over five years in Alabama teaching in the primary education system before founding Freedom, and holds a degree in elementary education from the University of North Alabama.

Mark Ogles - President

President and co-founder of Freedom, Mr. Ogles is responsible for the overall execution of the company vision and business development activities. For over 13 years, he worked with a NASA contractor integrating payloads for five Space Lab/Space Shuttle missions and served on the team that built the first Space Station EXPRESS rack. Mr. Ogles served as project manager for the teams responsible for building the Space Station Payload Data Library and the Space Transportation Information Network. Mr. Ogles currently supports the Exploration Systems Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC. He was awarded the NASA Exceptional Public Service Medal by NASA Administrator Dr. Michael Griffin for his work on the Exploration Systems Architecture Study (ESAS). Mr. Ogles holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Auburn University.

Larry Miles - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Miles serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Freedom. Mr. Miles is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has more than 25 years' experience in the finance industry, both in corporate executive positions and as owner of a private CPA firm in Huntsville, AL. Mr. Miles holds a bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Alabama.

Sonnie Hereford - Technical Director

Mr. Hereford serves as the Technical Director for Freedom Information Systems. Responsible for the development and dissemination of best practices and consistent software tools utilization approaches throughout the company and for its customers, he brings twenty-eight years of technical and management experience, primarily in the systems and software engineering fields. Mr. Hereford's experience spans NASA, the Department of Defense, and commercial environments. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MS in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Barry Britnell - Director of Information Technology

Mr. Britnell serves as the Director of Information Technology for Freedom Information Systems in Huntsville, Alabama. In addition to leading the development of the corporate network infrastructure, Mr. Britnell is also responsible for the oversight of the Corporate IT staff including budget planning and execution. He was recently awarded the "Made it Happen" Award from Ares Project Manager, Steve Cook, for his management of the Systems Requirements Review (SRR). Before joining Freedom, he worked for other engineering firms as a Software Engineer supporting NASA and the Missile Defense Agency. Mr. Britnell attended Florida College and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Meteorology.
